Check in: 8:30am  BE ON TIME!  All students not checked in by 8:45 will not participate.  At 8:50 Rules of participation for students will be explained.

Games begin promptly at 9:00am

Open to Fugman students K through 6th grade Chess Club members or any Fugman students who have competed in the Central Valley Scholastic Chess Association Tournaments in 24-25 school year.

Students in K-3rd grades may compete in the K-3rd grade bracket or may compete in the 4th-6th grade bracket.

Student in 4th-6th grades MUST compete in the 4th -6th grade bracket.

All brackets will play 5 games, if at the end of 5 games there is no winner then a championship game will be played in each bracket.

Students competing for Block F credit must be checked in by 8:45 and must compete in the first 5 games. Any late arrivals or students that leave early will not receive Block F Credit. 

Goal is to be finished by 12:00pm.

The will be NO SUPERVISION provided for your child.  You will need to attend with your child.

There will be a snack bar/food for sale.  Parents feel free to bring a chair as parents must observe from a distance as this is a student focused/driven event.  No filming of games will be permitted.
